Almost there!

Hi again FringeKids!

Sorry about the silence around here, but we've been so crazy busy at the Palmerston Library Theatre that we've hardly had time to sit down and check our email.

On to the reviews!  First off, two from a Fringe kid!

"Hi my name is Nora, I  went to see the Happiest place on earth and Honest Aesop fables at Fringe kids festival at Palmerston library. I loved the Happiest place on earth because it was funny , creative and amazing. The detective and his dog Rinehold were really funny and .so was the Mayor, Mr. Seymor and Josephine . In fact all of the characters were funny.

Honest Aesop fables was so funny and one of my favourite scenes was the one where the sun and the wind were fighting and the little girl wants a birthday cake but she can't have one because of their fighting and she goes all the way up the CN tower to stop them. It's really funny. I loved both of them .10 out of 10 for happiest place on earth and 10 out of 10 for Honest Aesop fables . Both Plays were excellent , hilarious , creative and completely different stories."

And one from a Fringe kid at heart!

"I saw Handle With Care last night (Wednesday) with my 8-year-old son and my 5-year-old daughter. It was wonderful. Captivating, hilarious, and enchanting, even for this non-kid.

One child asking repeatedly if the play is over yet (because he's worried it will end soon and wants it to go on longer) and the other asking to keep her ticket after the show so she can see it again and again is the sign of a really, really great FringeKids show, don't you think?

8-year old: "My favourite part of the play was when Tyler did a funny thing... actually he did so many funny things. I think he was the silliest one in the play. The play was very interesting and it's cool that the box was filled with all those things."

5-year-old (insisted on typing her own review, but gave up on asking how to spell things by the end): "I liked The Play. It was Really Funny. It made me laugh. Yuo Shood Wosh It."

Whether you "wosh" Handle With Care or watch it is entirely up to you, but if you ask all of us, it was the best play we've seen all year!

Big thanks to the cast and crew for giving my children (and I) a perfect FringeKids experience."

Only two days left of the Fringe Festival for this year!  Make sure to get out to see your favourite shows before they're gone.  And come early to make sure you get in!
