Hey look -- it's a blog!

Hey Fringe Kids!

Kelly here, your trusty FringeKids! house manager.  I've been hanging around the Palmerston Library with you guys every summer for years, listening to you talk about all of our amazing shows.  This year I thought to myself, I shouldn't be the only one who gets to hear what you have to say -- and the FringeKids! review blog was born!

This is your chance to let other kids know about all the great shows you've seen this year.  Tell us all about it!  You can do it in 5 words, or 25 words, or 2,365,129 words --- OK, maybe not quite that many!  And if you can't find the right words, why not draw your review?

There are a couple of ways you can get your reviews out there to the world:

If you're at the Palmerston Library right after a show and you're bursting with stuff to say, ask one of the FringeKids! team for a review sheet.  Write (or draw!) your review on the paper along with your FIRST NAME ONLY, get your grown-up to SIGN on the line at the bottom, and hand it right back to us!

If you don't start bursting with brilliant ideas until you get home, that's cool too.  Just type your review into your computer and ask your grown-up to email it to fringekidsreviews@gmail.com! (Grown-ups, please note that permission to post emailed reviews is implied because you emailed them to us).

If you don't see your review right away, don't panic!  We're busy bees at FringeKids!, and sometimes we can't check our email right away.  We promise you'll see your work as soon as possible.

OK, let's start the countdown...ONLY 8 MORE DAYS UNTIL FRINGEKIDS!

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

OK, I think I'm a little too excited.

(One more note for the grown-ups:  Please rest assured that your child's privacy will be respected -- we will post first names only, no photos or other identifying details.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to send us an email at fringekidsreviews@gmail.com.  And please note that this blog is being run by the FringeKids! house managers, just for the love of it, and is independent of the Toronto Fringe Festival).
